Building
the Next Century

Shintaro Yokoyama,
President and Representative Director

In 2021, we celebrated a full century since we first opened our doors in Kanazawa in 1921.
We have contributed to the development of the Hokuriku region’s manufacturing industry as a trading company, by earning the trust of the people of the region as a special distributor for Hitachi.
Alongside this, we have also increased our development capabilities, expanded our design and production divisions, and further improved our maintenance and other total support services, in order to better offer proposals that add value.
In 1993, we established overseas offices in cities like Singapore and Hong Kong, further expanding our sales and production network.
We live in a time of great challenges: climate change threatens environmental sustainability. The increasing globalization of the economy has brought with it various risks.
We also see countless issues and disparities created by racism and ideological conflicts around the world. Times like these demand great change.

Despite the circumstances we find ourselves in, our commitment to contributing to regional industry and the local community remains as strong as ever.
However, we believe that doing so will require the strength to break with received wisdom, and to embrace diversity.
The Hokuriku region boasts excellent technical and development capabilities, across a variety of fields. In order to grow and create value, together with various other companies,
we shall work not only to increase the value of our own brand, but to find new ways to add value, both in various manufacturing industries and through the potential of the region’s culture.
Our goal is to draw the world’s attention to these, strengthening the Hokuriku brand as a whole.
